THE PANDA GALLERY
A small selection of artworks from budding young artists at the Panda After-school club.
If your of a certain age, and used to enjoy watching the British Artist & TV presenter - Tony Hart on BBC's Take Hart, Hartbeat and Vision On - you may remember the regular section on his shows called "The Gallery" which displayed paintings, drawings, and collages sent in by young viewers. Well, this is the effect that I've gone for in this video... it's even accompanied musically by the distinctive "Left Bank Two" by the Noveltones, a staple of British Television nostalgia.
In the videos, i have ensured steps to remove any forms of identity in-line with Child Protection Policy guildlines as set out by the UK Govenment.
ACL ESSEX - Above are a couple of videos where I'm interviewed by ACL ( Adult Community Learning) at a community funday running a crafting workshop with and children and their families which I have helped out at various locations all across Essex.
On 11th October 2024, parents Dean and Emma Trussler from Harlow in Essex, lost their beloved daughter Ruby, who passed away after a short illness. 6 year old Ruby Trussler contracted Sepsis while in the Paediatric Intensive care unit at Addenbrookes Hospital in Cambridge.
On the 24th May 2025, a team of ruby's family and staff from William Martin C of E Schools took part in the National Three Peaks Challenge all within 24 hours to raise money for sepsis uk in Ruby's memory.
On the week that lead up to the event on the 24th of May, William Martin School took part in lots of activities, including walking 23 miles in classes, so that everyone could part of the challenge to remember the lovely Ruby.
I made these videos in April and June of 2025, to raise awareness of Sepsis, my friends Dean & Emma's devistating loss and visually doctument the journey of the Three Peaks Challenge...
You can find here a link of the Ruby Rose Foundation - now a offical charity in aid of Sepsis Uk.
I'd also have say here, the following videos contains very emotional themes that viewers may find upsetting. It could be a very hard watch.
